About Us
Khuluma "Speak Up"
We foster open dialogue about mental health.
Our mission is the empowering of individuals and communities by providing the tools needed for effective mental well-being management.
Our conversation centred approach will release the power a conversation has to change lives. Our team of health professionals (social workers) are committed to creating a supportive environment where everyone can share their stories and find the help they need.
Our Vision
A South Africa where open mental health discussions are the norm and everyone feels empowered to Khuluma (more ..).
Our Mission
We empower individuals and communities by providing the tools needed for effective mental well-being management. We believe that every conversation has the power to change lives, and we are committed to creating a supportive environment where everyone can share their stories and find the help they need..
How a Social Justice Enterprise creates Employment
Khuluma advocates the normalisation of mental health conversations, among all fragments of the South African communities. We intentionally offer non-clinical and pro-active programmes.
Our programmes are based on best (international) practises and are adapted by our registered social workers to our cultural diversity and are ‘ready to use’.
March 2026: Khuluma is building a network of (unemployed) registered social workers that will be trained to roll-out our Mental Health+ programmes in their local communities and schools.
